The Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir sings all styles from classical to contemporary, performing cantatas, musicals or for special services throughout the year.
- Open to anyone of high school age and older
- Performing for the Sunday service from Labor Day through early June
- Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the Choir Room
- No audition or experience is required; however the ability to read music is beneficial
The Chancel Handbell Choir
The Chancel Handbell Choir rings a five octave set of bells and a three octave set of choir chimes.
- Open to anyone of junior high age and older
- Perform occasionally for Sunday service from September through May and once or twice a year in the Concert Series.
- Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the Handbell Room
- No audition or experience is required; however, the ability to read music is beneficial
Children’s Opportunities
Whenever possible, the Music Department provides opportunities for children in the form of a vocal choir, youth bells, etc. Solo events are also encouraged, vocal or instrumental.
Ensembles
The Music Department is always open to new, contemporary or alternative music making. All possible combinations of voices and instruments are welcome, with support as desired from the Music Director.
